Sometimes, it takes years to find the perfect place where your vision can truly come to life… For over twelve years, I spent almost every holiday searching for that ideal location — exploring France, Portugal, Morocco, and Turkey—before finally discovering Marnes, a tiny hamlet tucked away in a nature reserve in southern Spain’s Costa Blanca. With its breathtaking mountain scenery and proximity to the sea, it felt as though everything I had been searching for had finally come together. 

Marnes offers a unique combination of natural beauty and serenity, in a pristine nature reserve with rich flora and fauna, phenomenal views and pure, unpolluted air. It is located in a mild microclimate with over 330 days of sunshine. Marnes is built on an energetic Ley line that enhances the area’s suitability for spiritual work and the resort offers complete privacy with excellent accessibility.

I envisioned a sanctuary for growth and self-development, a space to celebrate the beauty of life and love in all its forms. To bring this dream to life, I purchased a 300-year-old finca and lovingly restored it, respecting the surrounding environment while transforming it into a resort offering comfort, luxury, and modern amenities.

The process was not without challenges. When we began, there were no roads, no water, no sewage system, and no electricity. Yet, these obstacles allowed us to build Marnes in a sustainable, self-sufficient way. Today, the resort is powered by solar panels and batteries, waste is purified using septic tanks with aerobic bacteria, and we cultivate our own organic vegetables.

Remarkably, this secluded paradise is just one hour from two international airports and a major train terminal. With its incredible sea views, abundant natural light, and tranquil atmosphere, Marnes has become a true haven for transformation.

The journey of creating Marnes proves that even the greatest challenges can lead to extraordinary results. This is Marnes—a place where dreams are realized, and hearts find a home.

“I live most of the time in my head, I’m very rational and I wanted to explore more balance and be in contact with my heart.”

Hello, I’m Jeroen, and I’m from Belgium.
I participated in the Tantra course with Peter and Monica, and I’d like to share a bit about my experience.

As someone who tends to live mostly in my head — very rational — I wanted to explore more balance and reconnect with my heart. At first, the experience was definitely outside my comfort zone. But thanks to the safe and supportive environment created by Peter, Monica, and the group, I felt secure from the beginning.

The course started with a clear theoretical explanation, including how to set personal boundaries, which helped me feel even more at ease. That foundation allowed me to really be myself and to explore authentic contact — both with others and with myself.

Over time, I found myself becoming more in touch with my heart and creating true, honest connections. From that deeper place, it became possible to build more meaningful relationships with others as well.

I’d truly encourage any men who may be hesitant to take part in this course. It’s a powerful way to find more balance within yourself and to build genuine self-confidence.

I just want to share my current state of being.

Since I returned to the island and had a really good night’s sleep in my own bed, something shifted. I woke up on the morning of June 4th feeling a deep sense of joy, inner peace, and calm. I’ve been profoundly connected to my body and my heart ever since.

I feel love. I feel peace.
Even when I try to think something negative — and believe me, I do have challenges in the outside world — it doesn’t affect me. I remain in this peaceful state.

It’s incredible.
When I walk, I feel like an observer — fully present, completely in the here and now. It’s like magic.

And by the way, I’ve stopped drinking coffee — thank you, Peter, for that inspiration. I don’t miss it at all. I want to preserve this beautiful state of mind, this state of being. It feels like bliss.

I honestly hope this feeling stays with me for a long time. And I trust it will. There’s no doubt, no anxiety — and all of this without any substances.

Whatever I did… it brought me here.
And I want to thank you — because you were part of my journey.

If we take a look at the meaning of the word Tantra, which is a Sanscriet word, (Sanscriet is an old language that does not exist anymore) then tantra means literally that what is woven or in other words that what is connected.

In tantra we work with connection: we ask ourselves the question: how can I connect in a better, healthier way with myself and from there, how can I connect in a healthy way with somebody else.
For tantricas a good or healthy connection starts in the first place in their own hearts, that’s why we call Tantra, the path of the heart.

And by far the most important quality of the heart is to love, so tantra is the path of love.

In tantra, we are learning through experience, not so much by theory or knowledge. In tantra we experience mostly through exercises with our body, sometimes with our mind.
In the experience we are working a lot with pleasure, so in tantra learning by experience is a lot of fun, we are not learning by suffering.
In tantra we mostly don’t give the answers, we are showing you the path to find the answers yourself, by experience.

If you are looking for a more balanced, happy and joyful life that is lived from the heart, or if you want to liberate yourself of certain limitations, judgements or dogmas that don’t serve you anymore, you could consider to follow the path of Tantra.

In the Connective Tantra School, safety, respect, expertise, kindness and care are the keywords.
We provide for our participants a warm, safe heaven were they can explore, grow, transform and enjoy, in their own rhythm. Everybody is always fully accepted just the way he or she is.
In our workshops and sessions all exercises are optional, nothing is mandatory.
All our facilitators are experienced, certified tantra teachers who work from their heart without any judgement.
Before each workshop or session we will always organize a video contact with new participants to learn to know each other, to talk about eventual concerns and to answer all questions posed.

As an important part of life, healthy sexuality is a topic that is covered in our tantra sessions and workshops. According to the Tantra philosophy all contact between human beings should start and be anchored in the heart and this also counts for sexual contact. If a sexual encounter between human beings is anchored in the heart, we call this encounter a sacred sexual encounter. So in Tantra we try to lift sexuality to a higher dimension by including our hearts. Other aspects related to sexuality like desires, boundaries and radical honesty are also topics that are covered in our workshops and sessions.

In our sessions and workshops the keywords are connection and love, and as a tantra school we are open to all forms of expression of those two beautiful items.

It is neither mandatory or necessary to be naked during Tantra workshops or sessions. However, in certain circumstances, for instance in a Tantra massage setting, it can be convenient to be (partially) naked, but there is always a total free choice of the participant in this matter.

The Connective Tantra School also organizes trainings for people who have the ambition to become a Tantra facilitator or a Tantra massage practitioner. Those trainings exist of a series of workshops followed by an internship, supervision and a cap stone project.
